Our Story
Rocky Mountain Climbing Gear uses recycled materials to
manufacture rock climbing holds.
Owner Carl Keene has worked in the
aerospace industry for over 25 years,
building and designing high-performance composite aircraft parts.

While working in aerospace, Carl was always looking for a way to use
the materials that he saw being wasted on a daily basis.
Carl had a brilliant idea of bringing his knowledge of composites,
with his expertise in mold making, and desire to reduce waste
together to create a product that can be used for generations.
For the last twenty years Carl has recycled everything from
plastics to epoxy, to make a strong, durable,
realistic and nontoxic climbing holds.

Rocky Mountain Climbing Gear holds have been tested in all
types of extreme environments during the last 20 years.

Rocky Mountain Climbing Holds will not chip,
crack or fade in any environment.
